Launch of Two New Programs to Green Our City

The City of Pointe-Claire is pleased to announce the launch of two greening programs, in partnership with GRAME (Groupe de recommandations et d’actions pour un meilleur environnement).

Approved by the City Council during the meeting on June 6, 2025, these programs aim to promote tree planting on residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional properties. They will directly contribute to enriching the urban canopy and reducing heat islands.

For Residents: Ensemble on verdit

Are you a homeowner looking to green your property easily? This program offers you an affordable, turnkey service to replace a felled tree or add a tree to your property.

• Choose your tree from the online shop.
• GRAME will handle delivery and professional planting. The homeowner is responsible for watering.
• The City covers 50% of the cost of the tree, automatically applied during the order.

For Businesses, Institutions, and Residential Complexes: ICI on verdit

Are you responsible for an industrial, commercial, institutional building, or a residential complex? The ICI on verdit program allows you to improve your outdoor spaces with a full professional service.

• GRAME takes care of planting the trees, their maintenance, and watering for two years.
• The City offers a grant covering 25 to 50% of the cost.
• A turnkey project to show your commitment to a greener and healthier living environment.
