Published on September 4, 2026 to 9:28 a.m.

The City of Pointe-Claire will launch its new Citizen eSpace on October 1, a digital platform designed to make it easier to interact with the City and access information that is relevant to you.

Available online and through a mobile app for smartphones, this new tool will bring several services and features together in one place.

Services and information based on your preferences

By creating an account, you will be able to:

  • choose the topics for which you would like to receive City alerts and notices, including emergencies, collections, water and watermain issues, and roadwork;
  • view personalized information, including your collection schedules;
  • submit certain permit applications online, for example for residential renovation or landscaping work;
  • report issues to the City, such as a pothole, a malfunctioning streetlight, a full public garbage bin or another issue observed in a public space.

The goal is to make communications with the City simpler, more accessible, and better suited to your needs. New features may also be added gradually to the platform, making it easier to access the City's various online services from your smartphone through the mobile app.

Already using the City’s alert system?

The new Citizen eSpace will replace the current alert system.

Even if you are already registered for the City’s alert system, you will need to create a new Citizen eSpace account starting October 1.

Creating an account will allow you to customize the communications you wish to receive and take advantage of all the features offered through the new platform.

Starting October 1, visit the Citizen eSpace to create your account and discover Pointe-Claire’s new platform.

More details on how to create an account and access the platform will be provided at launch.
