Property Reinspection – Letter from the City of Montréal

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that certain residents may receive an official letter titled "Réinspection des immeubles" from the City of Montréal regarding the reinspection of their property. This process is entirely legitimate.

The City of Montréal is responsible for property assessment for all municipalities and boroughs on the Island of Montréal, including the City of Pointe-Claire. This reinspection is intended to update the technical files of properties in accordance with the Act respecting municipal taxation.

The City of Pointe-Claire urges the public to remain alert to potential identity theft attempts. No representative will come to your home unless you have first scheduled an appointment.
