Upcoming June Collections and Summer Collection Schedule

Please note: if a collection cannot be completed on the scheduled day, it generally will continue on the next business day. We ask that you leave bins or items for collection at the curb until collection is complete. 

Household Waste Collections: Summer Schedule

The City of Pointe-Claire reminds residents that the summer weekly collection period begins on Tuesday, June 2. As of that date, collections will take place every Tuesday for Sector A and every Wednesday for Sector B.

Upcoming Household Waste Collections

Here are the upcoming household waste collection dates for June by sector:

Sector A

• Tuesday, June 2
• Tuesday, June 9
• Tuesday, June 16
• Tuesday, June 23
• Tuesday, June 30

Sector A includes all areas west of Saint-Jean Boulevard, as well as all areas south of Highway 20 and north of Highway 40.

Sector B

• Wednesday, June 3
• Wednesday, June 10
• Wednesday, June 17
• Friday, June 26 (exceptionally on Friday due to Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day celebrations)

Sector B includes all areas north of Highway 20, east of Saint-Jean Boulevard, and south of Hymus Boulevard.

Bulky Item Collection

A bulky item collection will take place on Wednesday, June 10.

Bulky items are non-upholstered objects that are too large to fit in a bag, box, or bin. These include, for example, certain pieces of furniture or large items that can be recovered and recycled.

Important: only accepted items will be collected. Refused items or items placed at the curb at the wrong time must be removed by the individuals who placed them there.

Mattresses and box springs are not accepted as part of this collection, as they are collected separately. Bulky items must also not be placed with household garbage.

Leaf Collection

There is one last leaf collection for the spring 2026 season on June 8. Outside these collection dates, leaves must be placed in the green wheeled bin from the City. No bags will be picked up at the curb outside the predetermined dates, due to mechanical collection.
