Empress Park Pathway Work

The City of Pointe-Claire informs you that pathway rehabilitation work at Empress Park will begin during the week of August 24, 2026, and is expected to continue until September 4, 2026. Please note that these dates are subject to change depending on weather conditions.

The work will include:

• Reconstruction of the pathway with a new asphalt surface 
• Relocation of street furniture 
• Construction of a drainage ditch for stormwater runoff 
• Sodding 

Traffic During the Work

Local traffic will be maintained throughout the work period.

Pedestrian detours will be in place at the intersection of Maywood and Empress avenues to allow the work to proceed. Please follow the temporary signage in place.

We invite road users to remain extra vigilant and slow down for the safety of workers.
