Lane Closures on Winthrop and Vanguard Avenues

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that Hydro-Québec will be carrying out work on Winthrop and Vanguard avenues on Sunday, October 25, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Winthrop Avenue

The southbound lane will be closed between Hymus Boulevard and Sunderland Avenue.

The sidewalk will also be closed during the work. Pedestrians will be directed to use the sidewalk on the opposite side of the street.

Vanguard Avenue

The northbound lane will be closed near the intersection of Vanguard and Viking avenues.

The sidewalk will also be closed during the work. Pedestrians will be directed to use the sidewalk on the opposite side of the street.

Traffic and Detour

Traffic will alternate through the affected areas. Flag persons will be on site to direct traffic.

We invite all road users to exercise caution and reduce their speed when approaching the work zone.
