Update: Work on the Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) Service Road
The City of Pointe-Claire informs you that the road repair and resurfacing work planned on the eastbound service road of Highway Félix-Leclerc (A-40), between the Saint-Jean Boulevard exit ramp and Doyon Avenue, has been postponed to August.
This work, originally scheduled for July 20 and 21, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., will be carried out at a later date. We will inform you when the work resumes once the new dates have been confirmed.

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that road repair and resurfacing work will be carried out on the eastbound service road of Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40), between the Saint-Jean Boulevard exit ramp and Doyon Avenue, from July 12 to 20, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
The work schedule may be modified depending on weather conditions and the progress of the work.
Traffic Restrictions
During the work period, the eastbound service road of Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) will be closed between the Saint-Jean Boulevard exit ramp and Doyon Avenue.
Road users will need to follow the following detour: exit onto Saint-Jean Boulevard southbound, then continue via Hymus Boulevard and Doyon Avenue.
Motorists are encouraged to remain extra vigilant, follow all posted signage, and slow down when approaching work zones to ensure the safety of workers.
Additional communications will follow as the transition to the next phase approaches.

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to remind residents that sidewalk repair and construction work will take place on the eastbound service road of Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40), between Saint-Jean and des Sources Boulevards, from June 8 to 18, 2026, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
During the work period, the right lane and sidewalks along the Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) service road will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
The work schedule may be modified depending on weather conditions and the progress of the work.
Motorists are asked to remain extra vigilant, follow the instructions on all signs posted, and slow down when approaching work zones to help ensure worker safety.

Update: Work on Saint-Jean Boulevard and the Félix-Leclerc Highway (40) Service Road

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you of a schedule change related to the roadway resurfacing work, manhole adjustments, as well as sidewalk repair and construction on Saint-Jean Boulevard and the eastbound service road of Highway 40 (Autoroute Félix-Leclerc).
Updated Work Schedule
- June 7 to 12, from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.: Roadway work on the southbound lanes of Saint-Jean Boulevard.
- June 14 to 18, from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.: Roadway work on the northbound lanes of Saint-Jean Boulevard.
During the work, there will be two-way traffic in the opposite lanes from the work area. Normal traffic flow will be restored each morning.
The schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions and the progress of the work.

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to remind you that pavement resurfacing, manhole adjustments and sidewalk repair and construction work will be carried out on Saint-Jean Boulevard and the east service road of the Félix-Leclerc Highway (40) from June 1 to August 14, 2026.
The work will take place at night to limit the impact on traffic. However, partial obstructions and occasional lane closures are to be expected during the work. Traffic lights will also be set to flashing mode during this period.
Motorists are asked to remain extra cautious and to reduce their speed for the safety of the workers.
Schedule of Upcoming Work
- June 1 to 3, 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.: Sidewalk work on southbound Saint-Jean Boulevard.
- June 4 to 6, 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.: Sidewalk work on northbound Saint-Jean Boulevard.
- June 7 to 12, 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.: Pavement work on northbound Saint-Jean Boulevard.
- June 14 to 18, 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.: Pavement work on southbound Saint-Jean Boulevard.
