Victoria Day – Municipal Department Schedule

On the occasion of Victoria Day, the City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform residents about the municipal service schedule and activities planned. 

Administrative Services 

Administrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 18. Don’t forget that many municipal services are available online at any time through our website.

Inspection – Public Security Department

The Inspection – Public Security (ISP) Department remains operational 24/7 and can be reached at 514-630-1234 or secpub@pointe-claire.ca.

Collections

The organic waste collection scheduled for Monday, May 18 will take place as usual across the entire territory.

Please note that the next leaf collection will take place on Monday, May 25. 

Planning to tidy up your yard or garden beds over the long weekend? You can place your green and garden waste in your compost bin and your leaves on the curb for the next collection on Monday, May 25.

Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre

The Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre will be open according to the regular schedule. 

Lap swim, family swim, diving and springboard activities are available.

The Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre will be closed on Monday, May 18.

Bob-Birnie Arena 

The Bob-Birnie Arena will be closed on Monday, May 18.

Pointe-Claire Public Library

The Pointe-Claire Public Library – Central and Valois Branch will be closed on Monday, May 18.

However, Pointe-Claire Public Library members can take advantage of digital resources available on the Library’s website at all times.

Stewart Hall Cultural Centre

The Stewart Hall Cultural Centre will be closed on Monday, May 18.
