Bus Network Redesign
The upcoming opening of the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) is an opportunity for the STM to rethink the bus network to ensure connections between the various transport networks in the Montréal region.
This redesign covers 6 boroughs and 9 demerged cities, or almost 40% of the region. It involves more than 80 bus routes.
The redesign will be implemented when the REM’s Anse-à-l’Orme station is officially opened. This opening is scheduled for spring 2026.
Between now and the roll-out of the redesign, visit the STM website and try out the trip simulator to see the new options available to you.
