Quebec National Holiday and Canada Day: Municipal Services Schedule

During the Quebec National Holiday and Canada Day, some City of Pointe-Claire facilities will be closed, and the hours of certain municipal services will be modified. 

Administrative Services 

Administrative services will be closed on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, and Wednesday, July 1, 2026. 

Please note that many municipal services are available online at any time through the Online Services section of the City's website. 

Public Security Inspection Department 

The Public Security Inspection Department remains open at all times (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and can be reached at 514-630-1234 or at secpub@pointe-claire.ca. 

Collections 

Due to the Quebec National Holiday, the household waste collection scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, in Sector B has been postponed to Friday, June 26. 

The household waste collection scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, will take place according to the regular schedule.

Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre 

The Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre will be open according to its regular schedule on Wednesday, June 24, and Wednesday, July 1, 2026. 

Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre 

The Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre will be closed on Wednesday, June 24, and Wednesday, July 1, 2026. 

Bob-Birnie Arena 

The Bob-Birnie Arena will be closed on Wednesday, June 24, and Wednesday, July 1, 2026. 

Stewart Hall Cultural Centre 

The Stewart Hall Cultural Centre will be closed on Wednesday, June 24, and Wednesday, July 1, 2026. 

Pointe-Claire Public Library – Central Library and Valois Branch 

The Pointe-Claire Public Library – Central Library and Valois Branch will be closed on Wednesday, June 24, and Wednesday, July 1, 2026. 

Pointe-Claire Public Library members can access the library's digital resources at any time through the library portal.
