Dive Into the Exhibition Pointe-Claire, a Sports City!

The City of Pointe-Claire is proud to present Pointe-Claire, a Sports City!, a special exhibition in connection with International Archives Week, to be held from June 8 to 12, 2026.

Produced by the Archives Department of the Legal Affairs Department and City Clerk’s Office, this temporary exhibition invites you to dive into the heart of our community’s sporting history. Through a selection of archival images, relive the defining moments that have shaped sports in Pointe-Claire.

You will discover, among other things:

• sports facilities past and present;
• sports played in Pointe-Claire over the years;
• competitions and sporting events that have left their mark on our community.

The exhibition is presented at Pointe-Claire City Hall (451 Saint-Jean Boulevard), next to the tax counter, during the hours when the tax counter is open. It will be open to the public until September 2026.

This is a great opportunity to rediscover Pointe-Claire’s sporting history, while highlighting the essential role played by the Archives Department in preserving our collective memory.
