Upcoming Dog License Verifications in Pointe-Claire
The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that its Inspection – Public Security inspectors will be going around public parks to verify that residents have obtained the mandatory identification tag for their dog and paid their annual registration fee.
This initiative is set to begin as of the week of June 30, 2025.
Registering Your Dog
All dogs must wear an identification tag and be registered with the City.
The registration of your dog and the payment of the annual $25 registration fee can be done through the online registration platforms emili.pet. Licenses are valid from May 1 to April 30.
Residents can also visit City Hall if they prefer to conduct the registration in person. However, no identification tag will be given on-site, as the tag will be sent by mail and should arrive at your residence in the weeks following registration.

Thank you for your cooperation.
