Open since May 2022, the Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre has been offering a wide range of open activities for everyone. Everyone is invited to move, train and have fun!

Weight Room and Cardio Room

The facility features a fully equipped weight room with strength machines and free weights, a cardio room with a variety of equipment, and access to certified personal trainers for customized fitness support. 

Access to the weight room is only for visitors who are 14 years and older.

Running Track

The 150-metre indoor track is for walking or running at your own pace, and you can take advantage of the warm-up area adjacent to the track.

Personal Training

For individual training or specific help, we suggest using the services of one of our certified personal trainers. A membership is required in order to obtain a session. If you are interested, please speak to a receptionist or contact us at 514-630-1210.

Rules

  • Proper athletic attire and closed-toe athletic shoes are required
  • Bags, jackets or outdoor footwear should be kept in the locker rooms
  • Entry restricted to ages 14 and older
  • No photos or videos
  • Clean equipment and put away after use
  • Food is prohibited
  • Trainers from outside the centre are not authorized

The double gym provides an opportunity to practice a varied range of self-directed activities during specific time slots and for different skill level and age groups: pickleball, badminton, soccer, volleyball and basketball.

*Please note that the gymnasium has a limited capacity, and that Open Gym times are reserved for non-racket sports. 

The gymnasium schedule is subject to change without notice and modification to the schedule may occur on a monthly basis.

Pool Schedule - Fall 2025

Children and adults can enjoy the swimming pool to relax or improve their swimming technique. Indoor fun, all year round!

  • Make a splash in our indoor pool, complete with a fun water slide- great for all ages, rain or shine
  • Lap swimming is offered for adults

 

For squash court availability, please call 514-630-1210

  • Members can reserve 3 days in advance
  • Non-members can reserve on the same day, according to court availability
  • Equipment is available to loan 

Rules

  • For players under the age 18, protective glasses are mandatory
  • For players over the age 18, protective glasses are recommended
  • Non-marking shoes only
  • Squash only, any other activity prohibited

  • Weekends only
  • Studio: our party room, tables and chairs can be brought in. Only space where food is allowed
  • Half gymnasium: available between 1 and 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for group sports and other activities
  • Pool: We are currently unable to offer private rentals of the swimming pool but we do allow groups to join the fun time swim periods

  •  Disrespectful behaviour towards staff and other participants, vandalism, theft, and physical or verbal abuse will not be tolerated.
  • Fees are based on resident status, which are defined as individuals who live in the City of Pointe-Claire
  • Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult of 18 years or older at all times in the facility
  • Ages 14 and up are able to use any installation in the facility
  • Only resealable and unbreakable bottles are permitted on site
  • Bags, jackets and outdoor footwear must be kept in the locker room
  • No videos or photos throughout the facility
  • Trainers from outside the Sports Centre are not authorized
  • No nudity is tolerated in public space or in the under 18 aged locker rooms
  • Participants must scan their membership card upon every entry
  • In case of a missing card, participants will be charged $8 for a replacement card, after the third time
  • Appropriate athletic shoes and clothing must be worn at all times
  • No food is permitted in the facility other than designated areas
  • Personal items brought to the facility must be stored in a locker room, and cannot be left overnight. Any locks will be cut from lockers at the end of the day and items will be put in the lost and found.
  • The City of Pointe-Claire is not responsible for any lost or stolen property
