Closure of the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre for Annual Maintenance
The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre will be closed for the annual maintenance from Saturday, August 16 to Monday, September 1, inclusively. The 25-yard pool will not be accessible until Monday, September 9, and the Aquatic Centre will be exceptionally closed on Saturday, September 6 for its annual staff training day.
Please note that the front desk will remain open, with modified hours, throughout the shutdown. Find these modified hours on our Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre page.
Access to the Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre
For those still looking to break a sweat during the Aquatic Centre shutdown, the Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre will reopen following its own maintenance shutdown on Monday, August 18. The facility offers a variety of membership options, including day passes, for those wanting to try out their weight, strength and cardio rooms, as well as their swimming pool.

Extended Outdoor Swimming Period
Still eager to dive into some aquatic activities? Every year, two of Pointe-Claire’s outdoor pools remain open for an extra week at the end of August, and all Pointe-Claire residents are welcome to enjoy the facilities, free of charge!
The pools offering this extra week will be the Cedar Park Heights Pool, located at 22 Robinsdale Avenue, and the Pointe-Claire Village Pool, located at 4 Sainte-Anne Avenue. The facilities look forward to welcoming residents from August 24 to 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. and from August 29 to September 1 from 12 to 6 p.m.
Please note that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied on site by an adult and that non-swimmers must be accompanied in the water by an adult.
