Alkemia: Christmas Carols from here and abroad

L’Ensemble ALKEMIA is an alchemy of voices, colours and ideas. Founded by singer-harpsichordist Dorothéa Ventura and singer-composer Jean-François Daignault, the ensemble playfully reinvents a century of mostly a cappella vocal music.

Renowned for juxtaposing in the blink of an eye total bliss and unrestrained humour, L’Ensemble ALKEMIA bases its creations on strong themes, fueled by meticulous historical research. Mezzo Stéphanie Pothier joins the ensemble for this concert.
