Demolition Committee

Documents related to a demolition request and reutilization of the vacated land are available in this section of the website to make them easier to consult.

Permit applications for the demolition and reutilization of vacated land are studied in a public meeting by the Demolition Committee, which is made up of three members of City Council. At these meetings, only questions and comments related to the files under review are heard.

The documentation for each address is available from the time the public notice is posted until the projects permits are issued. Please note that the texts, photographes, and information disclosed in the reports filed to support demolition requests have been produced by experts, who are solely liable for these documents in compliance with their legal and professional obligations.

COVID-19

Public attendance is permitted to mettings. In keeping with Public Health guidelines, the Council Chamber will welcome a maximum of 11 people. Due to this limited number, access for Pointe-Claire taxpayers and residents will be prioritized and we encourage citizens to designate one person per address, per family or per group to represent them at the meeting. The maximum capacity will evolve in accordance with the directives issued by the competent authorities. The meetings will begin at 7 p.m. and the doors at City Hall will open at 6:30 p.m. The places will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

They are broadcasted live and replayed: http://www.webtv.coop/group/view?key=f44a4b4294cc155ff8ca33b37dfefee7
