Enjoy our Gym and Swim classes or consider our Cross Training or Windmills swimming program for an extra challenge. Many options are available for young children and teens! Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied throughout the building by an adult at all times. |

SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR CHILDRENAqua Percept is a gym and swim program for children who otherwise might not participate in regular physical activities. Adapted Gym and Swim is for children with special needs who could benefit from a low student-instructor ratio. Both programs are designed to make movement and learning to swim enjoyable and fun. Canoe – Kayak – Paddle Board LessonsThis course is designed to get participants comfortable on the open water and get them more familiar with various types of boats, such as canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. Youth to MastersMore than 150 paddlers aged 8 to 88 train for the goal of participating in regattas at the regional, provincial and national level. Throughout the season, athletes are invited to participate in at least three regional regattas and at the provincial championships. During the peak season, most athletes train twice a day, five days a week, and compete in regattas on a weekly basis. Prerequisite:

Karibou – Motor skill activities for ages 1 to 5Through a series of obstacle courses, games, exercises and coordinated activities, toddlers are encouraged to run, jump, dance, roll and climb. These activities are aimed at developing their motor skills and giving them a feeling of pride in their personal accomplishments while reinforcing their self-esteem. The environment where the activities take place is very lively and often accompanied by music. Ultimately, the main goal is to have fun! The activities are varied and enable the children to experience a wide range of games that are adapted according to their age and abilities. The presence of a parent is mandatory. Atelier de bibliothérapie jeunesseMs. Émilie invites your child to take part in an activity that feels good! In a friendly atmosphere, she begins by reading aloud an album that addresses a universal theme. This is followed by a snack break designed to stretch the body and encourage socialization. Allergy-free snacks provided. In the second half, it’s up to the kids! They are encouraged to identify and express the emotions that reading has brought out in them. The meeting ends with a creative activity that allows the more discreet children to express their emotions in ways other than words. Born in Montreal to Lebanese parents from Egypt, Alain Farah published a poetry collection in 2004 and released his first novel, Matamore no 29, in 2008. In 2009, Farah started teaching creative writing and contemporary French literature at McGill University. In the fall of 2013, his novel Pourquoi Bologne was selected as a finalist for the Grand Prix du livre de Montréal and the Prix littéraire du Gouverneur general. His third novel, Mille secrets mille dangers (2021), was a finalist for the Prix des libraires du Québec and the Prix littéraire des collégiens. Since 1983, Yves P. Pelletier has been a member of comedy group Rock et Belles Oreilles, with whom he has made appearances on the radio, on stage and on television. He has received several Félix, Gémeaux and Olivier awards, as well as a Medal of Honour of the National Assembly. Starting in the city of Ushuaia, he gradually made his way North through Chile and Argentina. Throughout his travels, he explored Navarino Island, said hello to the penguins of Punta Arenas, completed the famous « Torres del Paine » trek, contemplated the Perito Moreno glacier and went on several hikes in El Chalten and Bariloche.
