Online tax bills

Tax bills are sent out at the beginning of every year: the tax payment deadlines are at the beginning of February and June.

COVID-19The due date for the first payment of the municipal taxes, scheduled for February 8, 2021, has been extended to May 26, 2021.  The due date for the second payment, scheduled for June 7, has been extended to August 26, 2021. This measure is intended to give residential, commercial and industrial owners a break under the circumstances of the pandemic.

Cheques already sent for tax payment will only be deposited on the dates of the new deadlines. Owners who would prefer to have their cheque deposited on the date indicated on the cheque must make a request by e-mail at taxes@pointe-claire.ca or by telephone at 514-630-1300, ext. 1829. No refunds will be issued for payments that have already been made.

Owners who have signed up for monthly pre-authorized payments will have their first withdrawal made on February 8, as scheduled. Withdrawals will continue to be made on the 8th of every month until January 8, 2022 (or until the balance is paid in full). Due to the deferral, no interest or penalties will be charged on the withdrawals until the first due date.

You may also sign up for electronic document services to receive an email as soon as a new document is added to your file. By registering for this service, you will no longer receive bills by regular mail.

Registration

  • To register, please have one of the following documents ready: tax bill, water bill, deed, statement of account
  • Click HERE and go to the Registration tab
  • Fill out the required sections*

*Your ID number can be found on the top right-hand corner of the Propriétaire/Owner or Destinataire/To section of your reference document. The first name and last name of the first owner listed on your reference document must be used.
