Boat launching ramp

The City of Pointe-Claire reminds you that a permit is required between June 1 and September 15 to use the boat launch and park a vehicle with a boat trailer in the parking lot at Alexandre-Bourgeau Park. A limited number of permits are available.

Permit requests can only be done online starting Monday, April 9, 2024 for Pointe-Claire residents and April 23 for non-residents.

A proof of residence with photo and the registration for the trailer used to pull the boat will be required when applying. If the registration shows that the trailer is registered under a company name, an official letter must be written on company letterhead stating that only the person holding the permit is authorized to use the trailer.

The permit must be placed close to the trailer hitch. An $14 fee will be charged to replace a lost or damaged permit.

For any change of boat and/or trailer during the season, the permit holder must remove the permit sticker and return it to the City along with the receipt. A replacement fee will be charged ($14).

Please note that the boat launch and parking lot at Alexandre-Bourgeau Park may not be accessible on June 24 and July 1 (or in case of rain, on June 25 and July 2).

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
