Calls for tender

A list of contracts over $25,000 awarded by the City is published in the SÉAO (Système électronique d'appels d'offres). This system is approved by the Québec Government under the Act Respecting Contracting by Public Bodies (RSQ, Chapter C‑65.1).

Responsible procurement

The City of Pointe-Claire recently adopted a new responsible procurement guide in order to encourage a procurement process that respects the environment, employees’ social conditions, and local purchases while complying with current laws and regulations.

Through this guide, the City aims to minimize its needs at source by taking into consideration the reduction, reuse, recovery, recycling, reclamation, and elimination of waste in the procurement process.

In addition to guiding the choices and actions of all City departments, these standards will be included in the selection criteria for suppliers from now on.
