Long-time close collaborators Margaret Little and Sylvain Bergeron introduce you to two very popular instruments of the 16th and 17th centuries: the archlute, with its plucked strings and refined timbres, and the viola da gamba, with its deep and soft tones. You will be amazed by the sound of these early instruments and by the incomparable richness of the works performed.
Works by: Diego Ortiz, Tobias Hume, Antoine Forqueray, Marin Marais, and many more.
