Enjoy the melody of Pointe-Claire’s two public pianos all summer long

Residents, family, and friends are all invited to visit Pointe-Claire’s two public pianos this summer: one located on the terrace of the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre (176 Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore), available from June 4 until October 1, and the second one located at the Sara’s Enchanted Forest Reading Garden behind the Central Library (100 Douglas-Shand Avenue), available from June 18 to September 30.

All who wish to play a tune or simply enjoy the sound of music can access these two public pianos from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. everyday, all summer long!

Opening Concerts:

Concert on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 3 p.m. – Guillaume Martineau as a jazz trio

During his performance, Martineau will have the opportunity to showcase the multiple facets of his music playing ability. He will be accompanied by singer Janna Kate and bassist Éric Lagacé as a jazz trio. They will play their own rendition of songs by Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Neil Young, Beatles, as well as some French and Quebecois classics.

The concert will take place at the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre on Sunday, June 4 at 3 p.m. Admission is free, and no reservation is required for the event.

Concert on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at 3 p.m. – Marie-Ange Crochetière : le plein de réconfort

Marie-Ange is a passionate and multi-talented artist and a facilitator of tenderness. She creates music with the intention of creating calmness around her. In her first album Le plein de réconfort, she showcases her heartwarming folk sound through her authentic lyrics, her catchy melodies, and her soft and soothing voice.

The concert will take place at the Sara’s Enchanted Forest Reading Garden behind the Central Library on Sunday, June 18 at 3 p.m. Admission is free, and no reservation is required for the event.
