May 9 starting at 6 p.m. – Automated call service test
As part of Civil Protection Week, the City will conduct a test of the automated call service on Thursday, May 9 starting at 6 p.m. to allow everyone to become familiar with the system. This service allows the City to reach residents who have signed up when broadcasting alerts and general advisories.
The database contains all listed landline telephone numbers within the City of Pointe-Claire as of November 2018, as well as all numbers registered using the online form. You can add a cellphone number or email to your address at any time by filling out the online form.
What happens if you do not answer a call?
- If you have voicemail, the system will leave a message.
- If you do not have voicemail, the system will call you back at least three times within 15 minutes.
- Visit pointe-claire.ca to sign up and receive alerts by phone (voice/text) and email.
- Download the CodeRED Mobile Alert app to receive alerts on your smartphone when you are within the territory of the city.
