The City of Pointe-Claire is distributing masks to Pointe-Claire citizens aged 70 and over, as well as those with chronic illnesses or a weakened immune system.

Four masks are given per address.

It is recommended to wear a mask in public places and when a physical distance of two metres is not possible; for example, at the grocery store or when taking public transit. This is a preventive measure to protect others as well as yourself.

To obtain these masks, citizens must contact the City at 514-630-1314, Monday to Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and Friday, between 8 a.m. and noon.

Masks can only be picked up by appointment at City Hall. A delivery service is available for those who cannot come to pick them up.

Appropriate health measures have been put in place for safe distribution.
