Message from the mayor – United for life

Dear citizens,

We have been standing united for over five weeks now by following the self-isolation guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Once again, I would like to thank all of our essential service workers who are selflessly serving our community during this difficult time.

Together, let’s continue to follow the guidelines:

  • Stay home
  • Wash our hands regularly
  • Only go out for the essentials
  • Keep two metres apart

Following in the lines of the rainbow movement, we are launching a sign campaign to encourage everyone to continue to be united during the pandemic. You are invited to join us by choosing your rainbow-coloured message online. Our teams will install your sign in front of your house as of next week.

I also want to take this opportunity to offer my sincere condolences to the families and friends of those who have passed away from COVID-19. Our thoughts are with you.

Let’s stand united and save lives.
