Victoria Day – municipal department schedule

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you of the schedule for municipal services and activities on Victoria Day.

Administrative services will be closed on Monday, May 23.

Inspection – Public Security Department

The Inspection – Public Security (ISP) Department remains open at all times (24 /7) and can be reached at 514-630-1234 or secpub@pointe-claire.ca.

Collections

The organic waste, recyclables and leaf collections for sectors A and B scheduled for Monday, May 23, remain unchanged.

Aquatic Centre

The aquatic Centre will be open according to the regular schedule. Lap swim, family swim, diving and springboard activities are available.

Splash pad

The splash pad in Valois Park will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Bob-Birnie Arena and Pointe-Claire Public Library

Closed on Monday, May 23.

Pointe-Claire Public Library members can take advantage of digital resources available on the Library’s website at all times.

Stewart Hall Cultural Centre

Make the most of the weekend to visit the current exhibitions:

  • Stewart Hall Art Gallery: BACA is showcasing works on the theme of Land Back. This 6th edition is directed by the curator Michael Patten
  • Kids’ Corner: Ode to Nature mini-exhibition by the artist Marie Malgorn

You can also make the most of the long weekend to discover the photo exhibition by the artists Carrie Allison and Julia Rose Sutherland in Edgewater Park. This exhibition is offered as part of the Contemporary Native Art Biennial (BACA) presented at the Stewart Hall Art Gallery until June 19.
