City flags at half-mast in memory of the children found in British Columbia
In a show of solidarity, the mayor of the City of Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere, will have the City’s flags in front of City Hall flown at half-mast in memory of the 215 Indigenous children whose remains were found in a former residential school in Kamloops, British Columbia.
The City’s flags are at half-mast for 215 hours to represent each of the young victims, until Thursday morning, June 10.
