Update: Easter – Schedule for City Departments and Activities

Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre
The Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre will be open, Friday, April 7, from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., for locker room and shower access only, as well as for people to warm up and charge their cell phones, tablets and computers.
Pointe-Claire Public Library
The Central Library will be open on Friday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for people to warm up and charge their cell phones, tablets and computers.
Bob-Birnie Arena
Bob Birnie Arena will be open on Friday, April 7 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow people to warm up and charge their cell phones, tablets and computers. There will be public skating from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Aquatic Centre and weight room
The Aquatic Centre will be open on Friday, April 7, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for access to locker rooms and showers, as well as for people to warm up and charge their cell phones, tablets and computers.

The Central Library, which was to be closed during the Easter break, will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on April 7, due to weather conditions. Citizens are encouraged to visit the library to warm up and charge their cell phones.
April 4, 2023
The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you about the schedule for municipal departments and activities over Easter. The Administrative Services Department will be closed from Friday, April 7 to Monday, April 10 inclusive.
Inspection – Public Security Department
The Inspection – Public Security Department (IPS) will remain open at all times (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and can be contacted at 514-630-1234 or secpub@pointe-claire.ca.
Waste collection
Collection of organic waste, recyclables and leaves scheduled on Monday, April 10 will still be picked up in sectors A and B.
Stewart Hall Cultural Centre
Stewart Hall Cultural Centre will be closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday. It will be open on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Families and art lovers are invited to take advantage of the current exhibitions:
- Mini-exhibition: What do you see from your imaginary window? – Patricia David
- Writing Mountains – Entre les lignes – ARTIST
- Visions of Stewart Hall: 1885 – 1963 – Historical exhibition at the cultural centre
Bob-Birnie Arena
Bob-Birnie Arena will be open during the Easter weekend. However, public skating will not be offered on Sunday, April 9. Additional time slots for skating, hockey and drop-in ringette have been added for the Easter long weekend. Consult the schedule on the Bob-Birnie Arena page.
Aquatic Centre and weight room
The Aquatic Centre will be open during the Easter weekend. However, the opening hours on Sunday and Monday will be modified. The Aquatic Centre will be open on Sunday, April 9, from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and on Monday, April 10, from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lane swimming, family swimming and diving activities will be available. Additional time slots have been added.
The weight room will be open according to its usual schedule from Friday to Sunday. Note that on Monday, April 10, the weight room will close at 5 p.m.
Pickleball sessions are maintained; reserve your place on the LUDIK platform (http://ludik.www.pointe-claire.ca/). Consult the schedules on the City’s website.

Pointe-Claire Public Library
The Central Library and the Valois branch will be closed on Friday, Sunday and Monday. On Saturday, the Central Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Valois branch from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
