Mask or face covering – Distribution by appointment and mandatory use in municipal buildings

The City of Pointe-Claire is announcing the distribution on demand of two cloth face coverings by street address to Pointe-Claire citizens, age 12 and over, to protect others and themselves and thereby limit the spread of COVID-19.

Yesterday, the Québec government, in concert with Public Health, announced the mandatory use of a mask or face covering as of Saturday, July 18 in all closed public spaces in Québec, including municipal buildings accessible to the public.

To obtain your face coverings, please call the COVID-19 information line, at 514-630-1314. You can also send an e-mail to infoC19@pointe-claire.ca, providing your name, address and telephone number.

You can pick up of your face coverings at City Hall, by appointment, from Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 noon. A delivery service will be offered to those who are unable to pick them up for health reasons.

Quantities are limited. Face coverings are distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Appropriate health measures will be put in place to ensure safe distribution.
