Public garden boxes return to the Central Library

After last year’s success, the public garden boxes will be back again this summer, next to the Central Library.

Citizens are invited to reconnect with nature and enjoy the contents of the garden boxes for free.

This year, seven garden boxes have been made available to all, with a variety of herbs, vegetables and edible flowers.

To help promote quality crops and strong plant growth, we are all asked to follow a few simple steps to ensure the project’s proper management and sustainability:

  • Observe the plants without hampering their growth.
  • Pick only mature products.
  • Follow the instructions posted on site.

So that everyone can experiences the joys of picking from the gardens and promoting sustainable development, the height of some boxes has been adapted to make them accessible to those with reduced mobility and to young children.
