Regular meeting on June 1: Appeal of the Demolition Committee’s decision for the residential project at 575 Saint-Jean Boulevard

The appeal of the Demolition Committee’s decision for the residential project at 575 Saint-Jean Boulevard will be held on Tuesday, June 1, at 7 p.m., during the regular meeting of City Council.

In a public meeting held on April 14, the Demolition Committee approved the demolition of the existing building and refused the project to reutilize the vacated land at 575 Saint-Jean Boulevard. Anyone objecting to this decision had 30 days to submit a written request for an appeal to the Legal Affairs Department and City Clerk’s Office. An appeal was received on May 13 and is available on the Demolition Committee Web page, along with the traffic study.

Due to the pandemic and in compliance with health regulations, the June 1 public meeting of City Council will be held without a public audience. It can be viewed live or as a recording as of the following morning, and the link can be found on the Council meetings Web page. Citizens can submit their questions in writing by filling out the form online until noon on the day of the meeting.
