Revision of the urban planning program: A fruitful fifth meeting for the City’s future

The Baie-de-Valois Nautical Centre was the venue for the fifth citizen participation workshop on the theme of the transformation of Saint-Jean Boulevard and its surroundings. The workshop, led by BC2, enabled some sixty participants to share their vision of the future of the City of Pointe-Claire.

This fifth citizen participation activity closed one of the phases in the urban plan revision process. Since February 2023, citizens have been invited to take part in five workshops and two virtual activities. The analysis stages will enable the urban planning team, together with all municipal departments, to proceed with the drafting of a revised urban plan accompanied by the regulatory tools required for its implementation. A public consultation will then be held to give all Pointe-Claire residents the opportunity to express their views on the new plan.

The meeting report will be available in the coming weeks, and will be accessible on the platform Pointe-Claire consults you!
