Saint-Laurent Ecocentre

New recycling centre accessible to Pointe-Claire citizens

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform citizens that a new recycling centre, the Saint-Laurent Ecocentre, is now available to all residents of West Island, to replace the LaSalle Ecocentre.

“This re‑use and recycling site is another opportunity for our citizens to help reduce landfilling and greenhouse gas emissions,” states mayor Trudeau.

The Saint-Laurent Ecocentre recycles such things as construction and renovation wastes, hazardous household wastes, household appliances, electronics, upholstered furniture, green waste and conifer needles, as well as items that can be re‑used.

The ecocentre is at 3535 Sartelon St., Montreal. Between April 15 and October 14, the site is accessible every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. At all other times, the site is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except statutory holidays.

For more information, go to www.ville.montreal.qc.ca/ecocentres.

This agglomeration service is in addition to the City of Pointe-Claire’s monthly ecocentre schedule, the next dates of which are as follows: August 13, September 17 and October 15, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Public Works yard at 50 Terra-Cotta Avenue.
