Thanksgiving — Schedule Of Municipal Services
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the City of Pointe-Claire’s administrative offices, as well as the Public Library and the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre, will be closed on Monday, October 9, 2023.
Sports and Leisure
The Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre will have a modified schedule on Sunday, October 8 and Monday, October 9. To consult these special operating hours, visit the Sports and Leisure section on the City’s website, or click here: https://bit.ly/3PWEfS5.
The Bob-Birnie Arena will only be open from 9:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, October 9, while the Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre will be closed on that day.
Closure of Splash Pads and Opening of Outdoor Rink
With the fall season underway, the splash pads at Valois Park and Augusta Park will officially close for the season on Tuesday, October 10.
The refrigerated skating oval in the Pointe-Claire Village will be open to the public at the end of the month of October. Stay tuned!
Collection
The collection of leaves, recyclables (sectors A and B) and organic waste will be unaffected by the Thanksgiving office closures.

Please note that starting Tuesday, October 10, City Hall and administrative services will be open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
