Tribute to Bernard Landry – Flags at half-mast
The flags of Québec and the City of Pointe-Claire are at half-mast today, November 13, 2018, to pay tribute to Mr. Bernard Landry, former Québec Premier, who passed away on November 6.
“Bernard Landry dedicated his life to public service and to a political cause that was important to him while showing great respect for democracy. His contribution to public commitment, his sense of honour, and his dedication marked his contribution to the political history of Québec,” stated Mayor John Belvedere.
On behalf of the citizens of Pointe-Claire, City Council offers its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Landry’s family and loved ones.
