Call for submissions: Intergenerational cultural mediation project in public art

The City of Pointe-Claire invites artists, collective or artistic organization to submit their application for a temporary mural project, which will be produced on a small storage building located in Seigniory Park.

A call for submissions is underway to receive applications from interested artists, collective or artistic organization.

The purpose of this intergenerational cultural mediation project is the involvement of citizens of the City of Pointe-Claire, particularly young people 14 to 21 years of age, as well as seniors, in the production of a collective participatory mural artwork. The artist, the collective or the artistic organization selected must involve the public in the process of production of the work. The project must explore the meaning of community, living together and intergenerational ties.

Interested candidates must be professional artists under the Act respecting the professional status of artists (RSQ, chapter S-32.01).

The application deadline is Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 8 p.m.
